D-NOW Registration

This discipleship intensive weekend is designed to equip students for faithful service to our Savior, grow them in their faith, and build relationships with others in FBCO Student Ministry.

THEME: The theme this year is “Apologize”. This comes from the Greek word “apologia” in 1 Peter 3:15.

WHEN: 6:00PM, Friday, November 4th- 10:15AM, Sunday, November 6th.

WHERE: Most activities will take place on the campus of FBCO. However, we will be spending Sat. afternoon at Silver Dollar City.

COST: $65/ student. Cost includes a T-shirt, bracelet, food, literature, SDC ticket (if needed), and more.

Friday, October 21 from 5-6:30P. Join us for this church-wide event to support our Ozark & Nixa football teams. We will meet at the North parking lot behind the score board.

October Cherished Girls

October 20 from 6:30-8P in Mtg RM C. Join us for a night of delicious snacks, games, and fellowship. We will be talking about fears and anxiety and read from 2 Timothy 1:7. Cherished Girls is for 3rd-6th Grade Girls.

October B.U.I.L.D.

October 20 from 6:30-8P. Join us for Escape Room night! We will meet in the Children’s Wing and snacks will be provided. For 3rd-6th Grade Boys.

Fall Festival Family Event

Join us for this fun family event on October 29 from 3-4:30P in the Family Life Center. For preschool and children up to 6th grade and their families. Enjoy games, activities, inflatables, door prizes, and lots of candy!

Candy Donation (for Fall Fest)

We would appreciate any candy donations for our game stations at the Fall Festival family event. We will start collecting Sept. 25-Oct. 23. There will be buckets at the Preschool & Children’s Welcome Desk as well as the Donation Center. You can drop off throughout the month of October! Individually wrapped candies with no ghosts or goblins, please.

Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal

Join us on Wednesday Nights for dinner at 6P in the South Fellowship Hall Cost: Child (under 12) – $4, Adult – $6, and Family Household (Immediate Family Member Only) – $20.

How We Got The Bible

You are invited to join this exploration of how we received the Bible. There is woven in Scripture, a story-line of how God, in his providence, gave us His eternal Word. This class will review how we received the Bible, and be led by author and teacher BJ Chapman. This co-ed class will meet weekly on Wednesday nights at 6:30P in the North Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome to join this Fall study at any time.

The Special Ministries class available on Sundays at 9A in Rm 135. This class is for anyone interested in a Bible study tailored for special needs. Talk with Barbara Bray at (417) 581-6592 for further details.

 

Healing Hearts

The Grief Support Group will meet on Thursday, October 13 at 10:00A // North Fellowship Hall.
