FBCO Ministry Updates:

Giving ChristmasAs you do your Black Friday shopping, don’t forget about our Christmas families! This Christmas season, FBCO will be adopting families at Christmas a little different. All the families that are adopted will be families that have come through our clothing ministry.  This will allow us to make better connections, and hopefully be able to minister to these families in a different way.  So here is how it will work:

  1. FBCO will adopt 20 families.
  2. FBCO will host a Giving CHRISTmas day on December 19 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  3. FBCO will serve a breakfast to all the families, followed by the reading of the Christmas Story, a time to shop for their child, and finish at the gift wrapping station before going home.

Here is how every member of FBCO can be involved: Provide the Christmas gift items that are requested. Walmarthttps://www.walmart.com/lists/view-events-registry-items?id=abd42ef8-f258-460b-81a4-1d444bc44496

You can either purchase the item yourself and bring to the church, purchase the items yourself and have it shipped to the church, or provide the money and FBCO will purchase the item and have it shipped here.

Operation Christmas Child – FBCO is sending 1230 Shoeboxes to children across the globe so they can hear the good news that ‘Jesus Loves You’. Thank you for your support this year as you donated school supplies, wooden cars, dolls, clothes, made dresses, backpacks & toiletry bags, soccer balls & pumps, toothbrushes, made doll blankets, gave shipping money and so much more.  Please be in prayer for the children as they receive the shoeboxes & hear about Jesus.  Some of them will never have received a gift before.  Our boxes will join over 10 million more boxes from all over the U.S., Canada and Europe.
